- Southeast Minnesota: Creative placemaking has been a buzz word for a number of years. Many rural communities have heard about it, but few have successfully implemented a strategy. - Morris: As a nice follow-up to the last story, this week University of Minnesota – Morris was host to artists, art organizations and community and economic development leaders looking to learn and share how art and community can feed each other to create stronger towns. Check out the Twitter stream for the Rural Arts & Culture Summit for a nice digest of what was talked about during the conference.
